Ingredients
8 ounces egg noodles
2 (5 ounce) cans tuna in water, drained
1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup or cream of celery soup
1/2 cup milk
1 cup frozen peas (optional)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1/2 cup crushed potato chips or breadcrumbs (for topping, optional)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cook the egg noodles according to the package directions until al dente, then drain them well.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked egg noodles, drained tuna, cream of mushroom (or celery) soup, milk, and frozen peas (if using). Stir until well mixed.
- Stir in 3/4 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
