Ingredients

200 grams of beef, cut into small pieces

100 grams of green beans, cut into pieces

3 cloves of garlic, chopped

1 clove of onion, chopped

5 red chilies, finely ground

1 tsp salt

1 tsp oyster sauce

1/2 tsp soy sauce

1/4 tsp pepper powder

2 tbsp cooking oil

1 tbsp sweet soy sauce (optional)

100 ml water

Instructions

  1. Heat cooking oil in a pan and sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
  2. Add the finely ground red chilies and stir to combine with the garlic and onion.
  3. Add the beef to the pan and cook until the beef is fully browned and cooked through.
  4. Pour in a little water and stir well to incorporate with the beef and spices.

Notes

  • Vegetarian Version: Replace the beef with tofu or tempeh for a plant-based version of this dish.
  • Add More Veggies: You can add other vegetables like bell peppers, carrots, or mushrooms to enhance the stir-fry.
  • Spicy Version: Increase the number of red chilies or add chili flakes if you like more heat in your dish.
  • Sweet and Sour: Add a tablespoon of vinegar or lime juice for a tangy twist that balances out the sweetness of the soy sauce.
