Description

A flavor-packed Tex-Mex bake featuring a sweet-cornbread base topped with seasoned beef and melty cheese — a comforting twist on tamales.


Ingredients

    Cornbread Base:

  • 1 box cornbread mix
  • 1 egg + ⅓ cup milk
  • 1 (15 oz) can cream-style corn
  • Beef Topping:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup enchilada sauce
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 °F. Prepare cornbread batter with egg, milk, and corn.
  2. Pour into greased baking dish and bake 15 minutes.
  3. Brown beef with taco seasoning and enchilada sauce. Spoon beef over baked corn base; top with cheese.
  4. Bake 10 more minutes until melty.
