Ingredients
4–5 cups cold water, divided
2 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen (thawed)
1 cup (about 6 lemons) freshly squeezed lemon juice, more to taste
¾ cup granulated sugar, more to taste
Frozen blueberries, for serving
Lemon slices, for serving
Mint leaves, for garnish
Instructions
Blend the Blueberries:
In a blender, combine blueberries and 1 cup of water. Blend for about 30 seconds until the blueberries are pureed.
Strain the Puree:
Strain the blueberry puree through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher. You may need to strain the mixture twice if it is thick.
Add Lemon Juice and Sweetener:
To the pitcher, add the remaining cold water, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and sugar. Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar or water as needed. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Chill the Lemonade:
Place the pitcher in the refrigerator to chill for at least 30 minutes or longer for a colder drink.
