Description
Brownie Bites with Whipped Caramel Ganache are rich, fudgy mini brownies topped with a light and creamy caramel ganache. These bite-sized desserts are perfect for parties, celebrations, or whenever you want a small but indulgent chocolate treat.
Ingredients
For the Brownie Bites:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
For the Whipped Caramel Ganache:
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup white or milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin thoroughly to ensure easy release of brownie bites.
- Melt Butter and Mix Sugar: Melt the unsalted butter in a bowl, then stir in granulated sugar until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
- Add Eggs and Vanilla: Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter and sugar mixture, whisking well until smooth and well incorporated.
- Add Dry Ingredients: Sift together cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder, then stir these dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined, careful not to overmix.
- Fill Muffin Tin: Spoon the brownie batter into the prepared mini muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full to allow room for rising.
- Bake Brownies: Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes or until they are set but still fudgy. Remove and let cool completely in the tin or on a rack.
- Prepare Ganache: Heat the heavy cream until warm but not boiling, then pour it over the chocolate chips and let sit for 1 minute to soften the chocolate.
- Mix Ganache: Stir the chocolate and cream mixture until smooth and fully combined, then stir in the caramel sauce thoroughly.
- Chill Ganache: Refrigerate the ganache mixture for 30 minutes so it can firm up for whipping.
- Whip Ganache: Using a mixer, whip the chilled ganache until it becomes light, fluffy, and spreadable.
- Top Brownie Bites: Using a piping bag or spoon, apply the whipped caramel ganache generously on top of each cooled brownie bite.
- Serve and Store: Serve immediately, or store the brownie bites in the refrigerator for up to 3 days to maintain freshness.
Notes
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days to keep the ganache fresh.
- You can drizzle extra caramel sauce on top of the ganache for added sweetness and a decorative touch.
