Description

Buffalo Chicken Wraps are a flavorful and satisfying meal that combines spicy buffalo chicken, creamy dressing, and fresh vegetables all wrapped in a soft tortilla. It’s a quick, customizable meal that’s perfect for lunch, dinner, or any gathering.


Ingredients

1 lb (450g) chicken breasts

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 cup buffalo sauce, plus extra for serving

4 large tortillas

1 cup shredded lettuce

1/2 cup diced celery

1/2 cup diced carrots

1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)

Ranch or blue cheese dressing, for serving

Extra buffalo sauce, for dipping


Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips for faster and even cooking. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken strips and cook, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink and cooked through (about 8-10 minutes). Pour 1/2 cup of buffalo sauce over the chicken and toss to coat. Remove from heat.
  3. Prepare the vegetables: shred the lettuce, dice the celery and carrots, and crumble the blue cheese if using.
  4. Warm the tortillas until soft and pliable. Lay each tortilla flat, then evenly distribute the buffalo chicken strips in the center. Top with shredded lettuce, diced celery, carrots, and blue cheese if desired.
  5. Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll up tightly from the bottom. Slice each wrap in half at an angle for easier serving.
  6. Serve immediately with extra buffalo sauce and a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping. Enjoy while warm!

  • For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free tortillas and check that your buffalo sauce and dressing are gluten-free.
  • If you prefer a milder version, use a mild buffalo sauce or adjust the heat by adding less buffalo sauce.
