Instructions

- Sauté the Onion: Add the diced onion to the pot with the browned sausage. Cook until the onion becomes soft and translucent, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add Garlic and Seasonings: Stir in the minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, ensuring the garlic doesn’t burn.
- Simmer with Beans and Broth: Add the drained cannellini beans and chicken broth to the pot. Stir well and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
- Add Kale and Cook: Stir in the chopped kale and let the soup simmer for an additional 5 to 7 minutes, or until the kale is tender but still vibrant.
