Description
Cheesecake Deviled Strawberries are a bite-sized twist on classic cheesecake, with fresh strawberries filled with a creamy, sweet cheesecake filling—perfect for parties, gatherings, or a fun treat.
Ingredients
18–24 large strawberries
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 (8 ounce) package of cream cheese (softened)
1/3 cup sour cream
2/3 cup white granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Wash the strawberries and gently pat them dry. Cut off the tops and hollow out the inside using a small spoon or strawberry huller. Set aside the hollowed strawberries.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat together with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
- Transfer the cheesecake filling to a piping bag or a plastic sandwich bag with the tip cut off.
- Pipe the cheesecake mixture into each hollowed strawberry, filling them generously.
- Optionally, garnish with graham cracker crumbs, chocolate shavings, or fresh fruit.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to an hour for best results.
Notes
- For added indulgence, drizzle melted chocolate over the filled strawberries.
- Mix in different berries like raspberries or blackberries for a colorful berry mix.
- To make these sugar-free, replace the sugar with a suitable sugar substitute.
- For a crust-like texture, sprinkle crushed graham crackers on top of the filling.
- Store leftover strawberries in an airtight container for up to 2 days. These are best served fresh.
