Description

Crispy golden fries topped with savory seasoned beef in a tomato‑rich sauce, smothered in melted mozzarella and cheddar cheeses—an indulgent ultimate comfort‑food experience.

Ingredients

1 bag (about 1 lb / 450 g) frozen or homemade French fries

1 lb (≈450 g) ground beef

1 small onion, finely diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

½ tsp paprika

½ tsp chili powder (optional)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

½ cup marinara or tomato sauce

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Optional garnishes: sour cream, sliced jalapeños, chopped green onions or chives

Instructions

Preheat oven to 425 °F (220 °C). Spread fries evenly on a rimmed baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy, following package instructions or homemade guidelines.

Meanwhile, heat a skillet over medium heat and cook ground beef until browned, breaking it apart.

Add diced onion and garlic and sauté until softened. Season with paprika, chili powder (if using), salt, and pepper. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for about 5 minutes to meld flavors

Transfer the hot fries to an oven‑safe baking dish.

Spoon the beef mixture evenly over the fries.

Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over the top in an even layer

Bake at 425 °F for 8–12 minutes, until cheeses are melted and bubbly.

Remove from oven and add optional garnishes such as dollops of sour cream, sliced jalapeños, and green onions. Serve immediately.
