Description

A soft and tender low-carb bread made with coconut flour, this Coconut Flour Delight is slightly sweet and perfect for breakfast toast or a satisfying snack. Easy to prepare and baked to golden perfection, it offers a delicious gluten-free, keto-friendly alternative to traditional bread.

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup milk or almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon sweetener (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s ready for baking the bread.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted butter or coconut oil, milk or almond milk, and sweetener if using, until fully combined and smooth.
  3. Add Dry Ingredients: Gradually stir in the coconut flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt to the wet mixture, mixing until a smooth batter forms with no lumps.
  4. Prepare for Baking: Pour the batter evenly into a greased or lined loaf pan, smoothing out the top with a spatula for an even bake.
  5. Bake the Bread: Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool and Serve: Remove the bread from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice thinly and enjoy as toast or a snack.

Notes

  • Slice the bread thinly as it is very filling and dense due to the coconut flour.
  • For a sweeter version, add a teaspoon of cinnamon to the batter before baking.
