Description

The Cookie Butter Latte is a rich and indulgent drink that combines the smoothness of espresso with the creamy, caramelized taste of cookie butter. This comforting beverage can be enjoyed hot or iced and is topped with whipped cream and crushed Biscoff cookies for a delightful finish.

Ingredients

2 ounces hot water

2 teaspoons instant espresso powder

2 tablespoons cookie butter, divided and melted

6 ounces milk (dairy or plant-based)

Whipped cream (optional)

1 Biscoff cookie, crushed

Instructions

  1. In a small measuring cup or mason jar, combine the hot water, instant espresso powder, and one tablespoon of melted cookie butter. Stir until well combined using a milk frother, or cover the mason jar and shake to mix the ingredients.
  2. Drizzle the remaining melted cookie butter into a glass, then fill it with ice.
  3. Pour the prepared espresso mixture into the glass, followed by the milk.
  4. Finish with a generous amount of whipped cream, and sprinkle crushed Biscoff cookie crumbs on top for a crunchy, flavorful garnish. Stir and enjoy your delicious Cookie Butter Latte!

Notes

  • For a stronger flavor, use a double shot of espresso instead of the instant espresso powder.
  • If you prefer a hot latte, simply omit the ice and heat your milk before combining it with the espresso mixture.
  • Feel free to swap the Biscoff cookies for Nilla wafers, graham crackers, or Golden Oreos for a similar crunch.
  • To make this drink vegan, use plant-based milk and skip or substitute the whipped cream with a dairy-free version.
  • Add flavored syrups like vanilla, caramel, or cinnamon for extra sweetness and spice.
  • If you’d like to reduce the sweetness, cut back on the cookie butter or whipped cream.
  • This drink can be stored in the fridge for up to a week, but be sure to omit the ice to avoid dilution. Simply stir or reheat before serving.
