Ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning mix
1 head iceberg lettuce, shredded
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 cup red onion, diced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup sliced black olives
1/2 cup sliced jalapenos
1 cup ranch dressing
2 cups crushed Doritos
Instructions
- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in taco seasoning and water per package directions. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until thickened.
- In a large bowl, combine lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cheese, beans, olives, and jalapenos.
- Add the seasoned beef to the bowl and toss gently.
- Pour ranch dressing over the salad and toss again to coat.
- Sprinkle crushed Doritos on top just before serving.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro or lime if desired. Serve immediately.
