Description

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef

1 packet taco seasoning mix

1 head iceberg lettuce, shredded

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 cup red onion, diced

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 can black beans, drained and rinsed

1/2 cup sliced black olives

1/2 cup sliced jalapenos

1 cup ranch dressing

2 cups crushed Doritos


Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning and water per package directions. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until thickened.
  3. In a large bowl, combine lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cheese, beans, olives, and jalapenos.
  4. Add the seasoned beef to the bowl and toss gently.
  5. Pour ranch dressing over the salad and toss again to coat.
  6. Sprinkle crushed Doritos on top just before serving.
  7. Garnish with chopped cilantro or lime if desired. Serve immediately.
