Description

Ingredients

½ cup butter

1 cup self-rising flour

1 cup white sugar

1 cup milk

4 cups fresh blueberries


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the butter in an 8-inch square baking dish.
  2. Melt the butter in the preheating oven, which should take about 5 minutes. Once melted, remove the dish from the oven.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the self-rising flour, sugar, and milk until combined.
  4. Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish.
  5. Scatter the fresh blueberries over the batter.
  6. Bake the cobbler in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Notes

  • If fresh blueberries aren’t available, substitute frozen blueberries directly into the batter without thawing.
