- 2 cups broccoli florets (steamed)
- 1 cup cream of mushroom or chicken soup
- ½ cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking the casserole.
- Cook Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, then drain off any excess fat to reduce greasiness.
- Prepare Sauce: In a bowl, combine the cream of mushroom or chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, mixing well to create a creamy sauce base.
- Combine Ingredients: Stir the cooked ground beef and steamed broccoli florets into the sauce mixture until evenly coated.
- Assemble Casserole: Pour the mixture into a baking dish and evenly sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25–30 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
Notes
- Add cooked rice or pasta to the mixture before baking to make the casserole heartier and more filling.
- For a homemade alternative, substitute the canned cream soup with a homemade white sauce made from butter, flour, and milk.
