Description

Herbed Garlic Bread is a flavorful twist on the classic garlic bread. With its crispy edges, aromatic herbs, and savory garlic flavor, it’s the perfect addition to any meal.

Ingredients

1/4 cup Country Crock® Spread

1 teaspoon mixed herbs, dry

½ teaspoon garlic powder

1 (12 ounce) loaf French or Italian bread

Instructions

  1. Set an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the oven’s broiler.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the Country Crock® Spread, mixed herbs, and garlic powder.
  3. Arrange the loaf of bread on a baking sheet and spread the herb mixture evenly over the bread.
  4. Broil the bread for about 2 minutes, keeping a close eye on it to prevent burning, until golden and crispy.

Notes

  • For fresh herbs, substitute 1 tablespoon of finely chopped fresh herbs for the dried mixed herbs.
  • For a cheesy twist, sprinkle shredded mozzarella, parmesan, or a cheese blend on top of the herb mixture before broiling.
  • If you like a bit of heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the herb mixture.
  • Store any leftover herbed garlic bread in an airtight container for up to 2 days, or refrigerate for up to 4 days. For longer storage, wrap in foil and refrigerate.
  • To reheat, place the bread in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 5 minutes or broil for a few seconds to crisp it up again.
