Description

Honey Butter Skillet Corn is a sweet and creamy side dish made with butter, honey, frozen corn, and cream cheese. It’s a perfect balance of savory and sweet, with a rich texture that’s quick and easy to make.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter (salted preferred)

2 tablespoons honey

1 bag (16 oz) frozen corn

2 ounces cream cheese, cut into chunks

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, melt the butter and honey over medium-high heat. Once melted, add the frozen corn and cook for 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is cooked through.
  2. Add the chunks of cream cheese, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir everything together and cook for another 3-5 minutes, until the cream cheese is melted and well combined.
  3. Serve immediately. Any leftovers can be stored in a covered container in the fridge.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use less butter or a lighter cream cheese alternative.
  • To make it spicier, add cayenne pepper or chili powder.
  • If you prefer fresh corn, use about 4-5 ears and follow the same cooking method.
