Description

Honey Glazed Carrots are a simple yet elegant side dish where the natural sweetness of carrots is enhanced with honey and olive oil. Roasting brings out their flavor, creating a luscious glaze that makes this dish irresistible.


Ingredients

810 long carrots, peeled

2 1/2 Tbsp olive oil

1/4 cup honey

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/8 tsp pepper

Fresh thyme (optional garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel the carrots and cut them into your desired length and thickness.
  3. Place the carrots in a baking dish.
  4. Drizzle olive oil and honey over the carrots. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and toss until the carrots are evenly coated.
  5. Bake for 40–60 minutes, depending on your preferred doneness. 40 minutes will give you softer carrots with a slight crunch, while 60 minutes will result in completely soft carrots.
  6. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves, and add extra salt and pepper if desired.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
