Description

Loaded Steak & Shrimp Cheesy Garlic Bread combines juicy steak, tender shrimp, and gooey melted cheese on a crisp, garlicky bread base, making it the ultimate indulgence for any seafood and steak lover. Perfect for appetizers or a hearty meal.

Ingredients

For the Garlic Bread Base:

1 loaf French bread, sliced in half lengthwise

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Salt & black pepper to taste

For the Steak & Shrimp Topping:

1/2 lb ribeye or sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Salt & black pepper to taste

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the French bread.
  3. Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes or until lightly toasted.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak pieces with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook the steak for about 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, cook the shrimp for about 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
  6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the toasted garlic bread. Top the cheesy bread with the cooked steak and shrimp.
  7. Bake in the oven for an additional 5–7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top for a burst of color and freshness. Slice, serve hot, and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can swap the steak and shrimp for sautéed vegetables like mushrooms, bell peppers, or spinach for a vegetarian version.
  • For a different flavor, try using different cheeses like cheddar, gouda, or provolone.
  • For extra spice, add red pepper flakes or sriracha to the cheese topping or seasonings.
  • If you’re using frozen shrimp, ensure they are fully thawed and patted dry before cooking to avoid excess moisture.
  • If you prefer grilling, you can grill the bread and cook the steak and shrimp on the grill for a smoky flavor.
  • This recipe is not gluten-free due to the French bread, but you can use gluten-free bread as a substitute.
