Ingredients
Chicken and Seasonings
- 2 chicken breasts, diced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced

Liquid and Dairy
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk or cream
- ¾ cup parmesan cheese
Pasta
- 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
Garnish
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the diced chicken breasts and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add Garlic: Stir in the minced garlic and sauté briefly for about 1 minute, until fragrant, being careful not to let it burn.
- Add Liquids and Pasta: Pour in the chicken broth and milk or cream, then add the uncooked pasta. Stir to combine and make sure pasta is submerged in liquid.
- Simmer the Pasta: Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
- Finish with Parmesan and Seasoning: Stir in the parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top and serve the Chicken Alfredo hot for a delicious, comforting meal.
