Description

Orange Glazed Chicken Thighs feature a tangy and sweet glaze made from orange juice, soy sauce, ginger, and brown sugar. This dish is crispy, juicy, and pairs perfectly with sides like coconut rice or a fresh salad.


Ingredients

8 chicken thighs

1 cup orange juice

1 orange zested

1/4 cup rice vinegar

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1/3 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Optionally, line the bottom with orange slices for decoration.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine orange juice, orange zest, rice vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and crushed red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Place chicken thighs skin-side up in the prepared baking dish. Pour half of the orange glaze over the chicken.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, pour the remaining glaze over the chicken and cook for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Once cooked, remove from the oven and serve with your choice of sides. Garnish with fresh orange slices if desired.
