Description
Orange Glazed Chicken Thighs feature a tangy and sweet glaze made from orange juice, soy sauce, ginger, and brown sugar. This dish is crispy, juicy, and pairs perfectly with sides like coconut rice or a fresh salad.
Ingredients
8 chicken thighs
1 cup orange juice
1 orange zested
1/4 cup rice vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Optionally, line the bottom with orange slices for decoration.
- In a small saucepan, combine orange juice, orange zest, rice vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and crushed red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Place chicken thighs skin-side up in the prepared baking dish. Pour half of the orange glaze over the chicken.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, pour the remaining glaze over the chicken and cook for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, remove from the oven and serve with your choice of sides. Garnish with fresh orange slices if desired.
