Description
Shrimp and Crab Nacho Biscuit Melts are crispy, cheesy, and topped with succulent shrimp, lump crab meat, melted cheddar cheese, and a touch of jalapeños for a perfect seafood-inspired appetizer.
Ingredients
1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
1/2 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
1/2 cup lump crab meat
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup diced jalapeños (optional)
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Separate the biscuit dough into 8 pieces. Flatten each piece into a 3-inch round and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Top each biscuit with shrimp, lump crab meat, shredded cheddar cheese, and diced jalapeños (if using).
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the biscuits are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with sour cream, a sprinkle of garlic powder, paprika, and fresh cilantro.
- Serve warm and enjoy these bite-sized seafood melts!
Notes
- For a spicier version, increase the jalapeños or drizzle hot sauce on top before serving.
- Try using a different cheese, like Monterey Jack or mozzarella, for a different flavor profile.
- Make it vegetarian by replacing the seafood with grilled vegetables like bell peppers, zucchini, and mushrooms.
- For a more filling option, add cooked bacon crumbles or serve with guacamole on the side.
