Ingredients

For the patties:

  • 1 pound raw shrimp
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

For the guacamole:

  • 1 avocado, mashed
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small jalapeño, minced (optional)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Lime juice, to taste

To serve:

  • Burger buns
  • Lettuce and tomato

Instructions

  1. Pulse shrimp in a food processor until chunky. Mix shrimp with breadcrumbs, garlic, spices, egg, and lime.
  2. Form into patties. Cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side on a skillet or grill.
  3. Mash avocado and mix with onion, lime juice, jalapeño, and salt. Assemble burgers with patties, guacamole, and toppings.
  4. Serve warm and enjoy.
