Ingredients
For the patties:
- 1 pound raw shrimp
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
For the guacamole:
- 1 avocado, mashed
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1 small jalapeño, minced (optional)
- Salt, to taste
- Lime juice, to taste
To serve:
- Burger buns
- Lettuce and tomato
Instructions
- Pulse shrimp in a food processor until chunky. Mix shrimp with breadcrumbs, garlic, spices, egg, and lime.
- Form into patties. Cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side on a skillet or grill.
- Mash avocado and mix with onion, lime juice, jalapeño, and salt. Assemble burgers with patties, guacamole, and toppings.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
- Chill patties before cooking for better texture.
- Use gluten-free breadcrumbs and buns if needed.
- Add chili flakes or hot sauce to increase heat.
