Ingredients
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/8 teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
In a microwave‑safe mug, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
Stir in the milk, oil, and vanilla extract until the batter is smooth and combined.
In a small bowl or cup, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon.
Spoon the cinnamon‑sugar mixture onto the batter in the mug—don’t stir it in, just let it rest on top.
Microwave on high power for 60‑75 seconds, or until the cake has risen and is set in the center but still moist. Watch carefully to prevent overflow.
Allow to cool slightly before enjoying directly from the mug.
