Description

Ingredients

1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli (or fresh)

2 cups marinara sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup ricotta cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 egg

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with the egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Add a layer of frozen ravioli over the sauce.
  4. Spoon half of the ricotta mixture over the ravioli and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  5. Repeat the layers: sauce, ravioli, ricotta mixture, mozzarella.
  6. Finish with a final layer of marinara sauce, then top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours until the ravioli is cooked and cheese is bubbly.
  8. Let it rest for about 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
