Instructions
- Season the Roast: Generously season the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper on all sides to enhance the flavor before cooking.
- Prepare the Slow Cooker: Place the sliced onion at the bottom of the slow cooker, then add the seasoned roast on top.
- Add the Sauce Ingredients: In a bowl, combine pineapple juice, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic powder. Pour this mixture evenly over the roast and onions in the slow cooker.
- Cook the Roast: Cover and cook on low heat for 8 hours, or on high heat for 4 to 5 hours, until the beef is tender and easily shredded with a fork.
