  • Total Time: ~30–35 minutes
  • Yield: Approximately 12 bars

Description

A tender, cake‑style bar infused with warm maple sweetness—soft, fluffy, and baked (not fried), these bars make indulgent breakfast bites or cozy dessert treats.

Ingredients

½ cup unsalted butter, softened (for the donut bars)

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 cup all‑purpose flour

¾ cup granulated sugar (likely included above)

1 tsp baking powder

Instructions

Preheat your oven (use 350 °F / 175 °C as a common bake temperature for soft-baked bars).

Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs until fully incorporated.

In a separate bowl, whisk together all‑purpose flour and baking powder.

Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.

Spread the batter into a prepared baking pan (lightly greased or lined).

Bake for approximately 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with just a few moist crumbs.
