Description

Spicy Steak Ramen Noodles is a quick and flavorful weeknight meal that combines savory, spicy, and sweet elements. Ready in under 20 minutes, it’s the perfect dish for using up leftover steak while delivering punchy flavors in every bite.

Ingredients

1 lb skirt steak, cut into thin strips

1 tablespoon oil

½ cup hot sauce (Frank’s hot sauce is a great option)

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon white vinegar

1 tablespoon minced onion

1 tablespoon minced garlic

3 tablespoons brown sugar

2 (3-ounce) packages ramen noodles (discard flavor packets)

Green onions, sliced for garnish

Instructions

  1. Open the ramen noodle packages and discard the flavor packets. Cook the ramen noodles in boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. While the noodles are cooking, heat oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet. Add the skirt steak and cook until the meat starts to brown and is cooked through.
  3. Add the hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, white vinegar, minced onion, garlic, and brown sugar to the skillet. Stir everything together and reduce the heat to simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked ramen noodles to the skillet with the sauce and steak. Toss everything together to coat the noodles evenly with the sauce.
  5. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

  • If you prefer a milder dish, reduce the hot sauce or use soy sauce instead of hot sauce.
  • To add more texture, toss in your favorite veggies like broccoli or green beans to the skillet.
