Ingredients

120ml tahini

3 tbsp maple syrup

55g oat flour

3 tbsp cocoa powder

Pinch of salt

Sesame seeds for coating

Instructions

  1. Optional Step: Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan over medium heat for a couple of minutes, stirring continuously to ensure even toasting. Leave to cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the tahini and maple syrup. Stir until well-mixed.
  3. Add the oat flour, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. Continue mixing until the mixture reaches a dough-like consistency.
  4. Shape the mixture into 10-12 small balls.
  5. Roll each ball in the toasted sesame seeds, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  6. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Nut Butter Coating: Roll the balls in crushed nuts like almonds, walnuts, or cashews for added crunch.
  • Sweetener Swap: Swap maple syrup with honey, agave nectar, or date syrup.
  • Vegan Option: Use pure maple syrup and ensure sweeteners are plant-based for a vegan treat.
