Ingredients
Yogurt Base
- 1½ cups Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Toppings
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips, melted
- 2 tbsp chopped almonds or granola (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the baking sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make removal easy.
- Mix the yogurt base: In a bowl, thoroughly mix the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and consistent.
- Spread the yogurt mixture: Evenly spread the yogurt mixture into a thin, uniform layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Add blueberries: Sprinkle fresh blueberries evenly over the top of the yogurt layer to ensure every bite has some fruit.
- Drizzle melted chocolate: Drizzle the melted dark chocolate over the surface of the blueberries and yogurt to add a rich, chocolaty flavor.
- Add optional toppings: Sprinkle chopped almonds or granola on top if using, to add crunch and extra texture.
- Freeze: Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze for 2–3 hours or until the bark is firm and set.
- Serve: Once frozen, break the bark into 8 pieces and serve immediately. Keep any leftovers stored in an airtight container in the freezer.
Notes
- Store the bark in the freezer in an airtight container to maintain freshness and texture.
- For variety, you can substitute the blueberries with strawberries or raspberries.
- If the bark is very firm after freezing, let it sit for 2 minutes at room temperature before eating to soften slightly.
