Ingredients
Carrot Fries
- 5 large carrots, peeled and cut into fry shapes
- 1½ tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Garnish
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Prepare Carrots: Peel and cut the carrots into fry-shaped sticks, ensuring they are evenly sized for uniform cooking.
- Toss with Seasonings: In a large bowl, toss the carrot sticks with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until they are well coated.
- Arrange on Baking Sheet: Spread the seasoned carrot sticks in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, avoiding overcrowding to help them crisp up.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through the baking time to ensure even roasting.
- Add Parmesan (optional): Remove the fries from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if using, allowing it to slightly melt over the hot fries.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve the carrot fries warm alongside your favorite dips.
Notes
- Serve with ranch, garlic yogurt dip, or spicy mayo for added flavor.
- To achieve extra crispiness, avoid overcrowding the pan when arranging carrot fries.
- Alternatively, you can air fry the carrot fries at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes for a quicker cooking method.
