Ingredients
Tea Base
- 4 cups water
- 4 black tea bags
Lemonade Mixture
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons allulose or your preferred sugar-free sweetener
- 1 cup cold water
For Serving
- Ice, for serving
- Lemon slices, for garnish
- Fresh mint, optional
Instructions
- Boil Water and Brew Tea: Bring 4 cups of water to a gentle boil on the stovetop. Once boiling, remove from heat, add the 4 black tea bags, and let them steep for 4–5 minutes to infuse the water with tea flavor.
- Cool the Tea: Remove the tea bags carefully and allow the brewed tea to cool to room temperature before proceeding to the next step to avoid melting the sweetener.
- Mix Ingredients: In a large pitcher, combine the cooled tea, 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice, and 2 tablespoons allulose (or your preferred sugar-free sweetener). Stir well to start dissolving the sweetener.
- Add Cold Water: Pour in 1 cup of cold water to dilute slightly and aid the complete dissolution of the sweetener. Stir vigorously until all sweetener is fully dissolved.
- Taste and Adjust: Taste the mixture and adjust by adding more lemon juice or sweetener according to your preference for tartness and sweetness.
- Refrigerate: Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and chill thoroughly for about 1 hour to enhance flavor and serve cold.
- Serve: When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled iced tea lemonade over the ice.
- Garnish and Enjoy: Garnish each glass with fresh lemon slices and optional fresh mint leaves for a burst of color and aroma. Serve immediately for a refreshing summer drink.

- Enhance flavor by adding fresh berries, cucumber slices, or additional mint for a unique twist.
- Use 5 tea bags if you prefer a stronger tea flavor.
- Store any leftover iced tea lemonade in the refrigerator and consume within 3 days for the best taste and freshness.
