Description

These Lucky Charms Krispie Treats are colorful, chewy, and packed with marshmallow goodness. A fun twist on classic cereal treats, they are perfect for holidays, birthday parties, or kid-friendly snacks. Easy to make with just a few ingredients, these no-bake dessert bars combine the nostalgic flavor of Lucky Charms cereal with the gooey texture of marshmallow binding.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Lucky Charms cereal
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • ¼ cup (60g) unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray to ensure the treats don’t stick after setting.
  2. Melt Butter: In a large saucepan, melt the ¼ cup of unsalted butter over low heat, stirring occasionally to avoid burning.
  3. Add Marshmallows: Add 4 cups of mini marshmallows to the melted butter, stirring continuously until completely melted and smooth.
  4. Add Vanilla: Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract for added flavor.
  5. Mix Cereal: Fold in 6 cups of Lucky Charms cereal, gently stirring until all the cereal is evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture, taking care not to crush the cereal.
  6. Press Mixture: Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and gently press it down evenly with a spatula or your hands to form a compact layer without packing it too tightly to maintain softness.
  7. Cool and Set: Allow the mixture to cool and set at room temperature for about 30 minutes until firm enough to cut.
  8. Cut and Serve: Once set, cut into 16 squares and serve immediately or store for later enjoyment.

Notes

  • Reserve a few cereal marshmallows to sprinkle on top before the treats set for added decoration and fun.
  • Do not overpack the mixture to keep the treats soft and chewy.
  • Store the treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days to maintain freshness.
