Description

Pink Rosé Sangria is a refreshing and fruity cocktail featuring chilled rosé wine combined with fresh berries, citrus slices, a splash of sparkling water, and a touch of sweetness. This bright and lightly sweet drink is an ideal choice for summer gatherings, brunches, or anytime you want a vibrant, easy-to-make cocktail with a Spanish-inspired flair.

Ingredients

Wine and Liquids

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) chilled rosé wine
  • 1/2 cup strawberry liqueur or orange liqueur
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey or simple syrup
  • 1 cup chilled sparkling water or lemon-lime soda

Fruit

  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1/2 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 lemon, thinly sliced

Other

  • Ice, for serving
  • Fresh mint, optional for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare Fruit: Add the sliced strawberries, raspberries, orange slices, and lemon slices to a large pitcher to build the fresh fruity base of your sangria.
  2. Add Liquids: Pour in the chilled rosé wine, your choice of strawberry or orange liqueur, and fresh lemon juice into the pitcher with the fruit.
  3. Sweeten: Stir in the honey or simple syrup thoroughly until the sweetener is completely dissolved and the mixture is well combined.
  4. Infuse Flavors: Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. This chilling period allows the fruit flavors to infuse deeply into the wine mixture.
  5. Serve: Just before serving, gently stir in the chilled sparkling water or lemon-lime soda to add a pleasant fizz to the sangria.
  6. Present: Fill serving glasses with ice and pour the sangria over the ice. Garnish with additional fresh berries and sprigs of mint if desired for a beautiful presentation.

Notes

  • Use a dry or semi-dry rosé wine to balance the natural sweetness of the fruit and syrup.
  • Add sparkling water only before serving to preserve the bubbly texture.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding extra simple syrup if you prefer a sweeter sangria.
  • Keep the sangria refrigerated and consume within 24 hours for the best freshness and flavor.
  • This recipe contains alcohol and is intended for adults of legal drinking age only.
