Description

These juicy ranch burgers are packed with savory ranch seasoning, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce for an easy, flavorful burger. Perfect for grilling or cooking on the stovetop, they come together quickly and are finished with classic toppings like lettuce, tomato, and ranch dressing for a delicious American-style meal.

Ingredients

For the Burgers

  • pounds ground beef, preferably 80/20
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Optional Cheese and Toppings

  • 4 slices cheddar cheese, optional
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce, for serving
  • Tomato slices, for serving
  • Red onion, sliced, for serving
  • Pickles, for serving
  • Ranch dressing, for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, gently combine the ground beef, ranch seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Be careful not to overmix to keep the burgers tender.
  2. Shape Patties: Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty slightly larger than the hamburger buns. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to help prevent puffing up during cooking.
  3. Preheat Cooking Surface: Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat to prepare for cooking.
  4. Cook Burgers: Place the patties on the preheated grill or skillet and cook for about 4–5 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) for food safety.
  5. Add Cheese: If using cheddar, place one slice on each burger during the final minute of cooking and cover to melt.
  6. Toast Buns: While the burgers finish, toast the hamburger buns on the grill or skillet for 1–2 minutes until lightly browned.
  7. Assemble Burgers: Layer the cooked patties on the toasted buns with lettuce, tomato slices, red onion, pickles, and ranch dressing to taste.
  8. Serve: Serve immediately alongside fries, potato wedges, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.

Notes

  • Use 80/20 ground beef for the juiciest and most flavorful burgers.
  • Handle the beef gently when mixing and shaping to keep the burgers tender.
  • Add crispy bacon or sliced avocado for an extra-rich burger experience.
  • For a spicy kick, mix in a pinch of cayenne pepper or crushed red pepper flakes to the meat mixture.
  • Cooked burger patties can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated safely.
