Description

Tropical Sangria is a bright, refreshing pitcher cocktail loaded with pineapple, mango, orange, and lime. White wine and tropical fruit juices create a fruity, easy-drinking sangria that is perfect for warm-weather gatherings and parties.

Ingredients

Liquids

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) chilled dry white wine
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup coconut rum
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup sparkling water or lemon-lime soda

Fruits

  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup diced mango
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced

Others

  • Ice, for serving
  • Fresh mint, optional

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit: Add the pineapple chunks, diced mango, orange slices, and lime slices to a large pitcher to create a vibrant base for your sangria.
  2. Add liquids: Pour in the chilled dry white wine, pineapple juice, orange juice, coconut rum, and fresh lime juice into the pitcher over the fruit.
  3. Combine gently: Stir everything gently to mix the flavors without bruising the fruit.
  4. Refrigerate: Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the fruit flavors to infuse into the sangria.
  5. Before serving: Just before serving, add the sparkling water or lemon-lime soda to the pitcher and stir gently to keep it bubbly.
  6. Serve: Fill glasses with ice and pour the sangria over the top. Garnish with fresh fruit and mint if desired.

Notes

  • Use Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, or another crisp dry white wine for best results.
  • For a sweeter sangria, substitute lemon-lime soda for sparkling water or add 1–2 tablespoons of simple syrup.
  • Frozen pineapple and mango can replace some of the ice for a colder, fruitier drink.
  • Add sparkling water just before serving to maintain the sangria’s fizz.
  • This recipe contains alcohol and is intended for adults of legal drinking age.
